Do you like rainbows?

Does seeing a rainbow make you happy? What about the energies of semi precious stones? Or do you just like jewelery for your room? I've decided to start making and selling unique pieces of window art and here's how I decided to take the plunge.

A number of years ago my good friend Gail from the Champcar Pace Car Team, and now driver to the doctors in Indy Car introduced me to making aromatic diffuser bracelets. The bracelets were made with semi precious stones and lava rock and were to be used with your favourite essential oil.( I still make and sell these) However, every time I used to go visit her in Arizona we would spend time designing and making beautiful Sun Catchers that she would sell locally, and I always made a few to bring home to friends. For the past two years we've actually celebrated New Years Eve in Quartzite,AZ in her motorhome and New Years Day we would go to the Rock and Gem Show opening which lasts for thirty days and shop our hearts out for stones to make Sun Catchers and bracelets with. (My suite case literally weighed a ton coming home. Rocks are heavy!) On a total side note, but a funny story. One year we went with her motorhome which was a bit older and the battery was dead when we went to leave. So we had to find someone to help boost it. We find this older gentlemen who offers to help two women in distress and decides to lecture us on all of the things we did wrong. Which was so funny considering we are both retired race car drivers and I teach women how to take care of their vehicles. We both knew what was going on but we decided to hold our tongues and let him have his moment. He thought we didn't have a clue what we were doing.

Back to the Sun Catchers...mostly I helped design the Sun Catchers while enjoying a glass of wine and sitting in her studio. I also went to a few sales and helped sell these beautiful rainbow creating pieces of art along with Mike her partner who designs amazing jewelery as well. (Mike used to be a member of the Champcar/Indy Car Safety Team) This summer I decided to take the plunge and invest in stones and crystals to start making and selling my own Sun Catchers locally. Buying stones in Canada has been a challenge so she's become my buyer or as she calls it my stone addiction dealer. LOL To date, I have close to 3000 stones, and hundreds of crystals so I think I may have my work cut out for me but I can't wait to get started! I love creating things and also the meanings behind the stones. I am posting a photo of a couple I just created and I will post more photos moving forward. Who needs some gifts for people in their lives? Each creation is unique and I can do custom pieces based of what you like. I'm ready to go. Send me an email at kelly@kellywilliams.ca for more information. By the way, anyone recognize the Champcar driver in the photo with us?

Are you looking for something unique?

For a few years I've been making aromatic diffuser bracelets with semi precious stones. Amethyst, rose quartz, turquoise, labradorite, striped agate and carnelian are just a few of the stones I use.

This year I decided to make the investment and buy more stones to make beautiful Sun Catchers that are paired with Asfour Crystal balls and pendants.  These crystals have 30% lead content and they give many rainbow prisms when the sun hits them.  These Sun Catchers are a beautiful addition to the window of anyone's home.  If you would like to purchase one as a gift or for yourself please check out my store on my website.  If you don't see what you like send me a message and I'll see what I can make for you!
